Your telegram of October 8th. Following telegram has been received from Government of Canada:-
My Minister states no definite information here. For some weeks there has been some degree of activity on the coast and disposition on the part of number Hindus to return to their country. Immigration Authorities do not think that large numbers of these men have registered out and are very sure comparatively few have left Canada and been admitted to United States even going to San Francisco to take ship. United States Immigration Officials seen unwilling to permit entry into their country of many of these East Indians at this season year. Further enquiry being made respecting matter and another report will be sent as soon as possible.
